We went for dinner last night and was so disappointed. The food was not fresh. We had red wine and my glass was extremely dirty with bits of lemon in the glass. The food was average but what shocked me the most were the dirty plates which our food was served on. It seemed like the plates were never washed because they came dirty each time we ordered a plate. We ordered dessert and we could hear the microwave warming our dessert. It tasted horrid!

Mothers Day in a Greek Restaurant!! Who would have thought? We ordered the set menu after a special Greek cocktail and then the food started to come. Wow! Quality, freshness, genuine Greek cuisine made on the premises and delivered to our table with pride by the attentive and very friendly staff. We have been searching for a good Greek Restaurant for a while now to match the wonderful experiences we have had in Athens and the Greek Isles and here it was. Substantial quantities of food prepared with love and presented on our table with care. What more can you ask for? We will definitely return.

Big fan of the food and a bigger fan of the atmosphere - friendly and attentive staff and music that&#39;s right up my alley. Would definitely recommend visiting at least once!

I love Laksa and the Malaysian Laksa House does good Laksa. There is more than Laksa available and it is good for a meeting venue for catch up or business lunch. The staff were ok and the drinks adequate.

The Italian Forum is a pale shadow of its former self as we wandered through to find a lunch spot. There was only one other restaurant open but we chose La Giara as it was tucked away in the corner and a pleasant breeze was blowing through. Drinks were served quickly but that&#39;s where the urgency finished and the problems began. A couple of the kids meals were off the menu but the waitress said my nephew could have what he wanted at a kids meal price of $14; hence he chose gnocchi. We then waited and waited and waited for our food to arrive. After 30 minutes I looked up at one of the waitresses who gave a disdainful look at me and said, &quot;Don&#39;t worry, it&#39;s coming.&quot; A few minutes later two of the dishes arrived with some complimentary, burnt and dry garlic bread as an apology for the delay. It should be noted that a few other patrons, waiting patiently for their meals, were offered Antipasto instead which was somewhat annoying. By the time the remaining 3 dishes arrived, after over an hour of waiting, the other two had finished their meals. The order was hardly demanding so why there was such a delay was perplexing. To be fair the food was half decent although the pasta was over cooked. The prices were reasonable and we were going to leave with a &quot;not bad, but could do better&quot; opinion of the restaurant until it was time to settle the bill. I will not go into details but all this waitress needed to do was consult her colleague to resolve the issue but she didn&#39;t and was trying to justify her reasoning for the price of this particular item in a somewhat threatening manner. For her to say, &quot;Look, it&#39;s Sunday and I do not want to get into an argument&quot; was just churlish and uncalled for. Perhaps they were weekend staff but I would look for more welcoming establishments than this one in future.

Stopped here with a friend and her mother before an evening engagement. The restaurant was one of the two restaurants open on a Friday evening in the forum there was only two other parties seated at the tables when we walked in, and two dirty piles of plates right out front. I ordered a &#39;pizza&#39; and I use that term loosely as this establishment appears to not understand what exactly a pizza is. When this abomination arrived it was what appeared at first glance to be served on tip top sliced white bread. Upon further investigation it was sliced foccacia bread with cheese and completely tasteless sauce on top, accompanied by the oiliest eggplant I&#39;ve ever had. If it had of had at least some flavor I would have been happier, but it was a disgrace to all Italian food. Might I point out if I wanted foccacia I&#39;d have ordered it. I wanted pizza! My &#39;pizza&#39; was served at least 45 minutes before my companions pasta and risotto, which meant by the time their food arrived they were climbing the walls with hunger. As the waitress placed the pasta/ risotto in front of them I was confronted with this unimaginable smell of burning plastic, quite unlike anything I have ever smelt. The pasta, was worse tasting than the &#39;pizza&#39; it tasted and smelt like they&#39;d just heated it with a plastic food container, and melted the plastic in it. The olives were off as they tasted like off vinegar, and somehow they had managed to completely butcher all the food, including the risotto which was completely tasteless and appeared to be boiled separated rice rather than creamy mushroom risotto. I urge you not to go here. It&#39;s awful. Worst meal I&#39;ve ever eaten. The chef should have his qualifications revoked (if he or she even has any), which I doubt as none of that food would have passed a TAFE course as they have standards. I urge the owners of this restaurant to hire people who can cook or just close up shop.

Tonight I came here for an early Mother&#39;s Day dinner (there were 4 of us in total). Before the waitress took our order she said there would be a 30 minute wait for the mains. After she took our order she said the main would take 40 minutes. We thought 40 minutes would be quite long but we were okay with it. Brushetta for our entree was okay and then everything went downhill from there. Around the 1 hour mark we got free garlic bread due to us waiting for so long. It took 1 hour and 41 minutes for our mains to arrive. My main was just average. After the meal I went up to pay. I approached a couple with 2 kids and asked them nicely and politely how long they had waited for their main. They advised they had waited over an hour and were not entirely happy about the long waiting time. When I approached the counter I told the lady that I only wanted to pay half of the food bill because I had to wait double the time. She said she couldn&#39;t do it because the manager wasn&#39;t there and she would call security. I said I would wait. The gentleman I was speaking to before hand came up to pay and he said he had waited a while for his meal and the waitress told him that I was rude for talking to him beforehand! The waitress said it was MY fault I waited for my meal and I could have walked out anytime- her words. She then said I can only get my drinks paid for and $20 off the price. I was so annoyed at her and wanted to leave I said okay. She cut down the price to $102.90. I asked if I could pay $100 as I had exactly that in my wallet and she said &quot;no I already gave you a discount just ask the people at your table&quot;. I know it&#39;s not the waitresses fault for slow food but that is no excuse for rude customer service. WARNING- DO NOT EAT AT LA GIARA

Just in time, the hotel lives here. There is a large supermarket at the intersection. It is more convenient to go to the finger pier, the Royal Botanic Garden, the Library, and the Sydney Bridge. It is more convenient to walk for 30 minutes!
